Bosch considers closing a fuel vehicle parts plant Leave a comment

The German auto parts giant Bosch Group is considering closing a fuel auto parts plant in Munich.
The Bosch Group said that in order to prevent Germany from experiencing a surplus of auto parts in the transition from fuel vehicles to electric vehicles, it considered closing this plant.
The German Minister of Economy said in June that it is expected that by 2030, 14 million electric and hybrid vehicles will be on the road in Germany, which is 40% higher than previous expectations.
While deciding to close the fuel vehicle parts plant, Bosch also accelerated its layout in the field of automotive chips.
Bosch announced last month that a chip factory opened at a cost of 1 billion euros was officially inaugurated in Germany. It will start producing chips in July. The chips manufactured by the factory will be used in the latest electric cars and autonomous vehicles.
