The Samsung Electronics System LSI Division began supplying the latest system semiconductor product “Exynos Auto” to Volkswagen’s vehicle models from the beginning of this year. Exynos Auto is Samsung Electronics’ own car system SoC accessory, responsible for the brain function of the car infotainment system. Samsung Electronics is committed to nurturing automotive semiconductors as one of its future survival directions. Exynos Auto is the first work of Samsung Electronics to launch a dedicated brand for automotive semiconductors. The Exynos Auto series cars supplied by Samsung Electronics to Audi can implement various functions such as vehicle status control, navigation, and multimedia reproduction. At present, the latest Audi vehicles are equipped with Samsung Electronics Exynos Auto semiconductors.
